Offensive breakdown:
-Shooting
Has a little slow shooting form but nothing serious, not a exceptional shooter, he is making 28.6% of his 3pt shots on 2.1 attempts per game. He is more comfortable going inside where he shows his athleticism on the rim, very good vertical jump allows him to make some impressive dunks but he also has a soft touch on layups
-Ballhandling and passing
Loves to play isolation, has a solid ball handling ability for his position, very shifty while handling, but he can sometimes loose the ball while doing so. Loves closeouts and catch and drive situations where he beats his opponents by his fast second step. He showed flashes of great passing, his assists often comes from transitions and drive and kicks but he is able to spot teammates cutting to the basket from the post as well as the perimeter
-Pick and Roll
In Pick and Roll actions he is the roller even with his size, but he has potential to even play as a ball handler in some situations but he isn't used like that in Mornar. He uses slip screens and rolls to the basket well, he can also play Pick and Pop thanks to his ability to stretch the floor
-Off ball offense
Isn't always active off ball, but when he is he makes the difference on the court with his cuts to the basket, he times them and executes them well
-Post game
Not strong enough to post up frontcourt players, and doesn't have good technique and footwork in the post ups. On the other side he can showcase his playmaking from the post
-Transition
Great in transition, a lot of times he is a guy that opens up transitions with his passes, but he also makes good runs so he can get a couple of easy buckets per game
Defensive breakdown:
-Perimeter
Versatile defender, can guard all positions on the court, he is slow when changing directions but he has a 216cm wingspan that allows him to make some mistakes and still contest a shot. He also defends closeouts well thanks to it. He can often be lazy on defense and play with his hands on opponents body
-Interior
That wingspan brings a lot to him in defense and in combination with his high vertical jump you get his rim protection, can protect the rim great from second plan
-Off ball
When guarding off ball he gets stuck in off ball screens witch allows his opponents to position them self better. Thanks to his wingspan he is great at intercepting opponents passes
-Pick and Roll
In Pick and Roll actions he usually plays drop coverage and he is solid at that role, he doesn't allow ball handlers to finish over him and doesn't allow them easy passes to a roller. But he can also be used in switch coverage witch Mornar doesn't use that much
Rebounding:
His numbers say that he is a great rebounder, he averages 7.9 per game of witch are 2.1 offensive but eye test tells us another story. Isn't aggressive on the rebound and often doesn't box out his opponents. He grabs his rebounds thanks to his vertical jump and positions himself solid when he wants to
Conclusion:
Undersized forward that can cover both sf and pf positions. Has that next level athleticism but he needs to improve his mindset and his shooting percentages a little bit to be a valuable factor at the higher level
