Offensive breakdown:

+His main offensive trait is his rebounding on the opponents half of the floor. He is always looking to grab the offensive board and his very good athleticism is helping him a lot

+He knows how to get to the basket, his main move is spin move and he is doing it very successful

+Solid passing for a player in his position, and his assist numbers shows that

+Can be seen a lot of times going coast to coast with the ball and he achieves that with his incredible speed and great ball handling for his position

+In handoff situations he loves to fake the handoff and drives to the basket to create the shot for himself

-His problem is that he can’t convert his free throws, and if he wants to play at the higher level he need to be hitting more than 50% of his shots at the line that he is currently hitting

-Also about his shooting ability, as a forward he can’t stretch the floor well, which is one of the most important traits to look for in todays basketball

Defensive breakdown:

+The thing that makes him so interesting is his ability to switch and guard all 5 positions very well. He is very fast for a big guy which allows him to defend fast guards too

+Steals are a big part of his defensive game, he has very fast hands and can poke the ball from opponents hands

+His incredible athleticism also helps him with blocking the shots on defence but I wouldn’t consider him as elite rim protector

-Main flaw in his defence is that he is not so good off ball defender, players often cut successfully when being guarded by him which allows them couple free points

-Down side to his rebounding game is his boxing out, because other centers are stronger than him and he can’t keep them away from the board

-His physical weakness also shows when he is guarding the post against centers

In conclusion:

He is very interesting rookie because of his defensive abilities and his athleticism. But there are a lot of things he need to work on, his physical strength
and shooting abilities are the most important ones.
